Preview Pane stuck

Disconnect from the internet so that the e-mail doesn't
try to load then turn off preview pane under View.

If you rename your .pst file that Outlook is using,
Outlook will prompt you for it and you can create a new
one. Then turn off the Preview pane and Import all the
data from the renamed .pst file.
(kind of a convoluted way but it will work)

ps... DON'T delete your original .pst file until you have
imported all your data from it and verified that nothing
is lost!! :)

That doesn't work. I can't even get to apoint to get
out of preview pane the initial screen comes up and then
the program locks whether I am connected to net or not.
