I just upgraded to Frontpage 2002. In preview mode the
links don't work and when I attempt to preview in browser,
my computer hangs. Everything was working fine in 2000.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am thinking that
I need to downgrade to 2000.

Links not working in Preview:
The IE patch (813489) that broke FrontPage preview has done so on purpose for security reasons and there is now a workaround for
this behavior. The reason the patch broke FrontPage preview is because IE implemented a function in their code to prohibit browsing
across zones.
There's a registry key that will instruct IE to allow listed applications to browse across zones. FrontPage is not part of that
registry key. There will be a KB article posted shortly.

You can enter it manually and get the preview to work again if you are comfortable w/ regedit.
Add the DWORD value FrontPG.exe to the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Application Compatibility.

Set the value to 1.

In FP are you using File Preview in Browser (and do you have a browser selected)
If you can open the page fine in IE, but not thru FP File Preview in browser
Have you tried the usual repairs
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
3) In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file CMDUI.PRF
4) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins
5) Run a Repair / Reinstall on FP & IE
