Previewing attachments

When creating a new message I click on the attachment
paper clip to send an attachment. I am then given a
browse windown titled "Insert File". I click on the View
button, and select "Preview". So far so good. However,
for almost all files, when I click on a file the preview
portion of the window simply contains the text "Preview
Not Available." Mostly I'm wanting to preview Word
documents, but I always get this message. Anyone know why?

In order to preview a Word File, the file has to have
checked the save preview picture in its properties. You
have to be aware that if you do it, and the file has
pictures, its size will increase dramatically.
