Previewing Public Calendar Appt. creates local Cal. Appt.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem as described in an earlier post:

I'm using Exchange 5.5 SP4 with Outlook 2002 SP3 as a client.

Has anything further been discovered re. this issue?

We are seeing the same issue running Exchange 2000 and
Office 2003. So far we have found if the entry was
created directly in the Public Folder, this duplication
into the personal calendar does not happen. It only
happens if the meeting request, Appointment, etc was
generated from the personal calendar and the Public
Folder Calendar was added as a recipient of said meeting,
appointment, etc. We have been unable to find anything
about this in the knowledge base.

Thanks for confirming. We're looking at an upgrade to Exchange 2000 and
Office 2003. Good to know this issue still exists with these versions.
