When you download a template from the Microsoft Office site and save it as a
template on your system (Office XP--Word 2002) and go back and look for it
under General Templates and if you click on the item it states "NO preview
available". Can that be changed? I would like to have a preview of the item
for future reference if I want to use the template again.

Open your saved template. Select File > Properties and check the 'Save
Preview Picture' checkbox.

Hi Lynn,

If you have the file open on screen in Word, for example,
use File=>Properties and turn on the
[x] Save Preview Picture
choice.
