When I look at a calendar page in Outlook there is an icon that is clickable
called Previous Appointment. Clicking on it takes you to an earlier
appointment. What is the point of this? A typical user will always have a
previous appointment somewhere in the past. Why clutter up the calendar with
that? When I first saw it I thought that might mean there was something
about the previous appointment that made Outlook think it merited attention,
such as a meeting that I had forgotten to attend. So I started to look for a
way to "complete" the appointment the way that one would complete a Task.
But no, there is no such feature for indicating whether you attended to the
appointment or not. So why call attention to this appintment? It seems like
pointless clutter to me. Am I missing something?
