prewiew next slide for speaker

Is there a way for a speaker to see the next slide in a PP
presentation while the current slide is being projected to the
audience?

There is a feature in PowerPoint 2002 and 2003 called "Presenter's View".
It has a special layout that shows slide icons, notes, and the current
slide. You might want to check it out if you're using one of those
versions.
