primary key

I have a data base and I want the primary key to be a combination of several
columns, ei 1. date and time, 2. scac code, 3. vessel code, 4. trip code

Is this possble? If so, how is it done, if not - any suggestons?

Hi Ruth,

It's possible, and easy ...

Select the fields you want for your PK in the table (opened in design view),
by control/shift clicking in their record selectors. Then either click the
Key button (with an icon that looks like a key) on the Table Design toolbar
(by default, in A2002, it's about in the middle of the toolbar), or select
"Primary Key" from the right-click menu.
