Print a report in Access 2003 under restricted user rights.

I am having problems with users being unable to print reports from Access
2003. They all currently have restricted user rights. If we add the user
into the Power User group and then print the report it works fine. If we
then remove the user from the Power User group (so they are then restricted
user again), they can then print reports fine.

Therefore Access is remembering something but I am not sure of what it is.
If anyone can assist with this it would be appreciated.

I'm guessing that you're talking about Windows Group Permissions. After you
remove them from the Power User group, do you log them off and log on again?
If not, they will retain the Power User permissions until you do.

The users need to have Change permissions under the share and Modify
permissions under NTFS for the folder that the database file is in. They
also need this for the %temp% and print spooler folders. Can they print from
other applications?

are you using Access MDB or Access ADP?

totally different galaxies-- i really reccomend ADP if you're using Access
for reporting against SQL Server.
