print area changes

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I set the print area and guides in Excel, but when I go to print (Canon iR C2880/C3380 UFR II, PPD 1.0 ) the preview shows page breaks in different areas.

And when I go back to move the guides to change the pagebreaks, the window jumps all over the place so that I can't set my guides on the row I would like to.

I just upgraded to 2008, which fixed a different problem I was having in 2003 version. All cell formatting would stagger to the right within each cell in the Print Preview window, but the document was correct. This happened regardless of the printer I would submit a print job to. So far this has not happened yet in 2008.

What paper size did you set?
