Print dialog box does not appear

In Outlook 2003 on XP Pro - when clicking on File - Print; the print
dialog box does not appear.
Clicking on the print icon also does not print. The default printer is
a network printer and all other programs print fine. Also, all other
users can print from Outlook to this printer.

I have:
-uninstalled and reinstalled Office (fixed the problem for a few days,
then it returned)
-applied all Office updates

The next thing I was going to try was recreating the users profile.
Any suggestions on things I can try before deleting the profile?

Since this time, I have recreated the users profile on the same laptop.

All the fixes I have tried:
-reinstall office
-office updates
-recreate profile


Does anyone have any other suggestions to this problem?
