print layout view - Word - strange L shape marks at each corner

I have just installed Microsoft Office XP, and when I opened word 2002, in
print layout view, there are L shaped marks at each corner. The marks amost
define the margins. How do I turn this off, please, as the rest of my
settings look fine.
