Hi,
Using Word 2002 on Windows XP, with an HP laser prinetr.
We have a macro which allows the user to click a button
and the current document is printed using only paper from
the manual feed tray.
However, occasionally the paper gets picked up from the
lower tray instead.
(The user keeps company letter headed paper in the manual
feed tray and plain paper in the lower tray.)
Does anyone know why Word sometimes ignores the command to
take the paper from the top tray and actually takes the
paper from the lower tray?
There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the printer
as there is someone else connected to it and they don't
have any problems.
(I thought perhaps the manual feed tray paper sensor could
be faulty and sometimes report that there was no paper in
the tray; and word would default to the lower tray to take
paper.)
Thanks for any ideas that you may have.
