Print on smaller paper (Visio Pro 2003)

I have a diagram on designed to A3 page size. I would like to print it on A4
paper.

I have tried the help which says:
1. On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Print Setup tab.
2. Under Print zoom, click Fit to, and then type 1 in both boxes.
3. Click OK.
4. Print the drawing.

Unfortunately this just resises the sheet; the diagram stays the same size,
so only a part of it prints out. I do not want to resize my diagram, nor
change the sheet size; I just want to be able to print it on A4 paper
sometimes.

Before you do the Print Setup changes, click on the Page Size tab, and select
"Pre-defined size". It should be the same as your A3, if not, choose Custom
and enter the dimensions for A3. Now go to the Print Setup tab and make your
A4 selections.

Before you do those changes on the Print Setup tab, go to the Page Size tab
and either select Custom or Pre-defined to "lock in" your current drawing
size. Now go to the Print Setup and make the changes. This will preserve
your drawing page and allow you to print a smaller size.
