How can I print or send PDF files or other documents to OneNote in a way that
would still allow me to search the text within those documents?

In the present version, I don't believe there is any such capability.
Word is that the next release (Office 12) will have that ability, but
not yet.

"other documents"

Use the One Note Importer API, I send html, xml, and plain text to OneNote
and can search it, using the Find feature. Works great.
