Print Preview Crops Text

HELP!!!

I have a user using word xp OE XP. On some pages of her
document - in the print preview her text is cropped -
words are actually cut in half and from that point
forward the rest of the text on that page doesn't appear.
The next page is fine. Again this is only in Print
Preview and it prints just as Print Preview shows. Any
other view everything appears ok.

This isn't consistent to all pages. This isn't doesn't
happen on all of her documents. Margin Settings appear
ok. I am really baffled.

Can anyone offer any suggestions to why this may be
happening and what to do to correct? She is printing to a
Network printer HP 4050N. But I don't think it is a
printer problem.

Hi Gladys. This sounds to me like a problem with the Windows XP printer
driver for your HP 4050N. You might try using a different printer
personality (PCL5e, PCL6, or Postscript). If your printer driver isn't
the current version 4.27.4050.410, download it from HP's website and
install it as a different printer (just in case your present driver
works better than the new one). There is also a beta printer driver
available for the 4050N at http://www.hp.com/pond/ljbeta/index.html, but
I don't think the beta driver will help in your case. Hope this helps.
