Print preview

OK I've got it about getting the print preview. But is there something
(else) I'm missing that will allow multi-page preview instead of
page-by-page?

For years I've found multi-page very handy to get a quick overview of how
much space the doc was going to be & how the pages looked.
Thanks.

And in both the Backstage view and the classic Print Preview, you can change the zoom.

But note that you can change the view to multiple pages even in Print Layout view, if the goal is to get a quick overview of the
pages.

I guess it depends on what you've "got." When you go to Print in the
backstage (Ctrl+P), you see a preview. In order to get the classic Print
Preview (which allows you to view multiple pages and even edit in Print
Preview), you need to add Print Preview Edit Mode to your QAT.

Thank you both!
I had the wrong Print Preview on my QAT.
And I hadn't noticed the zoom-bar at the bottom.
<sigh>

I keep having to look for things in different places from where I
thought they used to be. But I could be mis-remembering anyway, my head is
spinning from all the changes I've not come to terms with or adjusted to.
And since I don't do this everyday I sometimes have trouble nailing it down.

If you are a new user of Word 2007 or 2010 there is certainly going to be a learning curve, as you have noticed. :-(

Well, blow me down! I hadn't seen the Zoom slider, either. Thanks, Stefan!

I guess you were so used to seeing the Magnifier in Print Preview of previous versions. :)
