Print Screen Doesn't Work

My print screen button never works. I have tried this on my work and home
computers. I usually wait until the image I want is on the screen, hit the
Print Scr button, go to a Word or Outlook document, and paste it. Am I doing
something wrong?

Try Alt+PrtScreen. Or if you're using Vista use the Snipping Tool.

Is Word already open when you do this? There are a number of add-ins and security products that cause the clipboard to be cleared
when starting Word?

Yes, I am trying to paste it into either Word or Outlook. Any ideas? It is
strange that it happens on both my work and home computers.

Does anything happen when you try to paste it in? (You know that it doesn't
"print" the image, right?)

Thanks Jim. I'm not using Visio, but I have tried Alt+Print Screen and it
also didn't work. Do you have any other ideas?

I was able to print screen and suddenly it stopped after adding a HP 6310 printer and adding norton 2007 Security. HP support was reloading some drivers they had inadvertantly deleted while helping witht eh printer addition and it worked temporarily but stopped again.
