Printed watermark prints over top of text??

HI!

I'm using Word 2002, Windows XP Professional, and am using a Delll 3100cn
colour laser printer.

When I add a printed watermark (a JPG image) to my word document (washout
selected), and have text on the page, on the monitor the text shows up fine
over top of the printed watermark (even in print preview it looks fine), but
when printed on the Dell printer, the watermark covers up the text instead of
show behind it... Any idea why? I think there is a bug in my "POS" Dell
printer... we had an older black & white Lexmark that worked great!

ideas?

There's a Compatibility Option that might affect this: "Print body text
before header/footer." But I can't imagine why that would be enabled (it's
certainly not by default).

Have you tried searching for an updated (or at least different) driver for
the printer?
