printer dialog box doesn't pop up in word 2000 anymore

I had no problems with printing and the printer dialog box showing up.
Recently, after someone used my computer, I can no longer access the printer
dialog box. When I go to print, it automatically prints, such as choosing
the printer picture, I would like to occasionally print a range of pages, or
print to a different printer without changing the default printer. It is
becoming very frustrating without the printer dialog box. Can anyone help?
