Word 2007 comes up with a blank box where the default printer should be listed. When I try to select the default printer it errors, saying no default printer is installed. The machine is Win XP SP3 and there is a default printer installed which is working with all other applications. I can print to OneNote from within Word. I have deleted normal.dotm files, reinstalled the printer driver and ran the office repair from control panel. Microsoft's fix it tool reports that the printer and it's services are fine. Within Word I went to Word options and ran the diagnostics, no issues were found. From the run dialog I tried winword.exe /s and that did not work. Suggestions on how to fix this will be appreciated.
