Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I have a canon i860 printer. When I try to print a word for mac document I get a message that my printer is offline, but it is on. What do I need to do?

How is your printer connected ‹ Directly or on a Network?

Just because it's turned on doesn't mean that the connection is recognized,
so you'll have to investigate it from the Print & Fax Preferences of OS X
&/or your network connection.
