In Office 2007, both Word and Excel -- when I send to the printer, the last
character of some words or numbers will not print. They are there on screen,
and when I do a print preview. But will not print. Sometimes, I can delete
the whole word and re-type and it will print, but not always. I've had
limited luck with changing to another font. Any suggestions?

Is the latest printer driver version from the manufacturer installed?
(NOT Windows Updates)

Yes -- I have a HP Color Laserjet 4550N networked with about 25 computers.
Some computers will print fine, others drop characters.

Is the same driver being used on all? Another interesting "option"
called "Advanced Printing Features" might be disabled to correct the
problem. It's in the Printers Printing Preferences.

yes - same driver is on all computers -- I've played with the preferences,
but so far no luck..

Are the words seemingly random in the document, or at the end of something--
line, paragraph, page, etc.
If they are seemingly random, it may be related somehow to the network,
rather than word or office.
(You mentioned that the printer(s) are networked.)
