Some of my users are experiencing a problem printing from MS Office XP
applications on their XP SP2 machines. While in any Office application, all
printers show as 'Idle,' but in any other application they can print to any
of the printers. Even the Adobe PDF writer is affected. I initially thought
the problem was with Adobe Acrobat 6.0, so I removed it completely and have
had the same problem. Only network printers seem to be affected, because one
of the users is able to print locally at home.
One machine is a Sony Vaio, but the other is a Fulitsu Lifebook. Both are
XP SP2 with Office XP Professtional.
Anybody have any ideas?
