Printing 2 pages onto one

I am needing to create a document that allows me to print 2 pages onto one
with out changing the direction of the original document.

for example it would be something like this:

text
page break
new page text

Is there any way to insert a column that runs horizonal?

Select "2 pages per sheet" under "Multiple pages" on the Margins tab of Page
Setup and leave the orientation at Portrait, and you'll get what you want.
If you're trying to subdivide a Landscape page this way, it will be more
difficult but *might* be possible to achieve by swapping the height and
width measurements and calling it Portrait.
