Printing a brochure

I have Office 2007. I am having trouble printing a brochure. No matter what I
do the printer will not print the leading 1cm edge of my brochure. - even if
I shink it. If I reduce the size of the border and pull the leading edge into
the page by about 12 mL it will print but this is hardly acceptable. I have
been able to print to the edge on 2003 so I must have to make an adjustment
somewhere but I can't work out what it is. Does anybody know? It is not a
printer issue because when I click on the print preview button it also shows
the leading edge cut off. I also tried changing the paper size to Legal (On
landscape this is wider) - just to see what the preview would look like and
it still cut off the leading edge.

What model is your printer? I have a borderless printer, if I look at print
preview while creating my publication, it will show a border all around, in fact
if I invoke borderless it will preview two pages tiled. If I look at print
preview in the screen that comes up when I click the File menu pull down, Print,
it does not show the border and will print correctly (borderless).

Did your printer come with its own software? A workaround would be to save your
brochure pages as pictures and print them in the printer software.
Is your printer driver current?

Thankyou Mary,
Have tried saving into my Pictures but still does the same thing. My printer
is a HP 1400 series - its not a boarderless printer but you can print smaller
borderless photos. It is odd that if I shrink it from 100% to a much smaller
size it still cuts off the leading edge. The only way to do it is to pull the
right hand border in by 10mL. But then the otherside does not match up so you
end up with white strip on bothright edges.

Regards
