when tring to print a calendar, I hit print (File>Print), an error message
comes up saying that one or more parameter values are not valid. Can anyone
help me with such a basic question? I've tried to find the answer, but no
luck

I am trying to create the calender in outlook. I am working on someone
else's computer, trying to create a calendar for them, then printing it, in
outlook. At this point I have re-installed outlook, still teh same results

When you say re-installed Outlook, do you mean you uninstalled it then
installed it again?

Specifically, what is the error message you get?

No, somewhere I read to use add/remove programs, using the option to change,
then re-install or repair. Hope that answers your question. Office was not
uninstalled! ... just "repaired"

After entering the fields, all of them (eg, subject, location, label) when I
try to save the appointment, the error message is "Could not complete the
operation. One or more parameter values are not valid." Also, if I just try
to print a blank calendar, the exact same message. I do not know if this
message is pertaining to Outlook, or the printer. I have examined both,
surfed the net, etc.

I am doing this for a friend. WHen I started, I could tell they had never
used Outlook. It had been installed for years, at least 4-6 years. This is
why I tried to "repair,re-install", thinking that someone had deleteed part
of Office. I am tempted to literally uninstall, and then re-install.

I apperciate you helping me. This is very nice of you to take the time.
This one has me stumped!

Let me know if you have suggestions.
