Printing a fill-effect?

How can I print a textured fill-effect for a background in Word. I put the
Background in, but when I go into Print-preview, the textured background
isn't there

Hi Erin,

To add one bit to garfield-n-odie's reply, in Word 2003
the Background from Format=>Background is printable. For
prior versions you would need to use a work around, such
as the one suggested.
