printing all worksheets on same paper

I wish to assign the same paper to my enitre workbook, how would i do this?
I am using a printer with multiple paper types and sizes and when i have the
entire workbook selected it only changes to the paper i wish to use on the
displayed page. In other words i am trying to print a 8 1/2 x 11 document on
a cardstock of the same size that is in a different tray then the regular
paper, everything, but the worksheet that is displayed, is printing from the
default tray.

Have you tried creating a template with the page settings and using
that?

Hi,

I'm tracking your printing issue and wanted to see if you found a resolution
to the problem? If so, post the steps you used to resolve the problem so the
group can track that in its collective memory.

If not I would like to get more information on the problem you're
experiencing. Currently we don't have anything in our internal bug database
that is like the behavior you describe. There are usually four places
printing bugs can be: Excel, Mac OS, printer driver, and printer. I'd like
to eliminate Excel as the cause of your problem if possible.

If I understand correctly:

1. You have a multi-sheet workbook.
2. You are using a multi-tray printer.
3. You want to print all the sheets in the workbook.
4. You want all the sheets to print using a specified printer tray.
5. You get output from the active sheet in the specified printer tray.
6. You get output from all the other sheets in the printer's default tray.

Am I tracking right so far?

Here is some information I need to help peel away the next layer of the
onion:

1. Which version of Excel are you using?
2. Which version of the Mac OS are you using?
3. What make/model printer are you using?
4. Is it directly connected to your Mac or on a network?
5. Is the printer driver current?
6. Are you using the Print dialog's Paper Type/Quality Source drop-down list
to select the tray you want output from?

Thanks for providing this information,
