Printing as handouts

Hi All,

I'm interesting in setting a computer to print only handouts - I would like
this to be automatic upon starting PowerPoint 2003.

Does anyone know of any registry settings / keys to add that will allow me
to do this? Could I run a Macro / Script upon opening a new document?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Jim

Misphrased that question... I am interested in setting the default on-load
option to "print handouts: # slides" ... likely 3 or 6 slides, with lines for
notes.

Hi Bill,

While this does the task on my computer - the computers I want to assign it
to (a college library where I work) it would be nice to make the system error
message disappear.

Most distance schooling (online) software does not prompt for layout when
printing direct from the software! Looking to override the default setting to
save paper - as students often do not SAVE, OPEN, PRINT...

Requires one to PRINT, receive message, then PRINT...

I'm considering a macro that might run on loading PowerPoint

Thank you,
