printing background color

sorry if this is a stupid question...

I can not seem to get the background color of a layout table to print. It
is displayed fine on my monitor, but when I do a print preview on the form
or print it out the background color does not appear. Anyone know what I'm
doing wrong?

Brian Teutsch [MSFT]

Tools menu, Options dialog, "Print background colors" option. We don't
adjust printouts very well when you have white text on black and print to
black and white, so this helps keep us from getting into more trouble with
users...
