I am trying to use the mail merge feature of Microsoft Word 2002 to print ID
badges on a dot-matrix printer. I have continuous fan-fold badges for
tractor feed printers. I created a new Dot Matrix LABEL with the correct
SIDE MARGINS, WIDTH, HEIGHT and ZERO for TOP MARGIN. If I set the number of
labels per page to 1, the first label will print correctly but then the
printer (EPSON LX-300+) gives a formfeed bypassing several labels and ends
up in the middle of a label.
If I set the number of labels per page to 5, the first 5 labels print
correctly but the printer again formfeeds bypassing several labels and ends
up in the middle of what it thinks should be the next label.
Should I be treating these ID badges as LABLES? Does this seem like
something to do with CONTINUOUS SECTIONS?
Thanks in advance.
