Printing cuts off when using Legal format

J. Morillas

Hi,

I have a network-installed printer, HP LaserJet 4100, and writing a
document in Word 2000.

I'm writing a document on Legal 8.5x14. When I try to print (or
preview for that matter), the last 3 inches on the bottom of the page
are blank.

In Page Setup, Legal is chosen the size, and everything else looks OK.
I've tried to reset the margins to 0", and Word displays the message
"one or more margins are set outside the printable area of the page".
If I chose Fix, it sets the bottom margin to 3.17", if I choose
Ignore, it leaves the margin at 0", but it still cuts off when I do a
preview.

If anybody can assist me with this it would be appreciated

Thanks

Jorge

What's the page size in the printer setup? Bet it isn't legal!
