printing email

We have a user who corresponds to a vendor on a daily basis for business. The user has been able to print these emails all the time. on Monday 12/1/03, the user could not print some of these emails. We tried to print the ones sent on 12/1/03 but would not print. Emails sent on tuesday 12/2/03 we could print those emails. We went back to the users email logs such as 1 week and 2 weeks ago, we could print those emails. interestingly, some emails in those 1 week and 2 weeks ago we could not print.

The emails that cannot be printed, when we go to "print" we dont get the box prompting for how many copies or if we want to change the printer. also the "print preview" option is grayed out. The user is using windows 2000 with office 2000 premium with service pack 1. i sent the emails to me and i had the same problems. I have a windows xp with offfice xp corporate edition

please help
