Printing evelopes to a Canon PXMIA MP780

When tring to print my logo and return address, instead of printing in the
nornal upper left hand side, it is rotated 90 degrees to the and prints on
the end of the envelope. Have tried changing the printter and page settings
to no avail. Prints properly using the envelopes window in Word. Canon claims
it's a publisher issue. Help!

There can be numerous settings one has to accomplish for different sizes of
media and that creates confusion. I ignore all the special settings and
consider everything I print to be on an 8.5 x 11 sheet, which is the
standard size. For an envelope do nothing more than pull horizontal and
vertical guides into position so the dimensions are the same as whatever
size envelope you are wanting to print. Then add text frames and/or graphics
as desired and position them accordingly. I have numerous printers,
including Canon Pixma models and this procedure works on all of them. In
lieu of using horizontal and vertical guides, you could also create a box
the same size as the envelope and move it into position. Be sure to select
no line under the lines box to prevent the border from printing.
