Printing Excel OS X files

Hi Manuel,

The cell borders should print the same way. Do the borders show up in Print
Preview? If yes, then you know Excel sent the border information to the
printer. If not, then there's something wrong with Excel.

Check print preview and then post a follow-up message to this thread with
the results.

Thanks

Recently I switched my working files from Windows Office XP into Apple
Office OS X just updated to v. 10.1.5.

I am doing well on the Apple enviroment but today I found that Excel
files previously created on XP do not print exactly the same when
running on OS X.

CELL BORDERS shown on screen print preview do not print on paper.
I have tried to change border type but it does not work either.
I wonder what is wrong but cannot find answers on Help
Troubleshooting.

Can anyone help me?
Thanks

I am having exactly the same problems in Excel. Running OS X 10.3.2
and with the latest Office updater 10.1.5.

I DO see the cell borders in print preview, but when you print to a
printer or even save the preview as a PDF file - they DISAPPEAR again!

Someone must know something about this, and its resolution!? Is there
a setting we are missing!?

Would very much appreciate your help please, anyone!

Hi Manuel,

J P Sheehan posted the solution to this earlier today:

In the Page Set Up dialog box, select the Page tab and set Print
Quality=HIGH as opposed to Normal and 360 DPI.

Also

On the Sheet tab be sure Draft is not checked
