printing graphics problem or layout?

I have a problem with printing a graphic using a hp 4200tn
printer. When I print out this graphic part of the graphic
will be notched over so it's not aligned with the rest of
the graphic. This happens no matter where I put the
graphic, the top the middle or the bottom of the page. The
graphic is about 2 inches long, and takes up the whole
width of the page. When I print I get the message that
something is out of the margins. However if I resize the
graphic to make it a bit smaller the graphic prints fine.

any suggestions?
