I can't get gridlines to print at all. I'm using Excel 2008 for Mac and I've checkied "print gridlines" in the formatting palette and under the "sheet" tab in page setup and I still can't get gridlines to print. Also tried borders. I'm using a HP D7200 printer. Never had this problem before with Excel. Any suggestions?

Oh really? On the first 125 pages, I saw one similar message that was about INCONSISTENT gridline printing. Which is not the same problem. Am I to waste my time looking through a million postings?

Yes "really" - you replied to that post you're referring to & your question
was addressed there. It was absolutely unnecessary to post the same question
separately - although that's actually what you should have done rather than
replying to a post which you yourself acknowledge as pertaining to a
different issue.

You don't need to look through "a million postings" for your reply - just
look back to the posting you made.

I got it to work. I did a cut & paste of my spreadsheet and started over. Clicked "off" all references to printing gridlines and did a overall border. Then printed the spreadsheet. That worked.
