First a little background:
I am using MSProject2003 with ProjectServer2003. We have an external
document control system that contains the Work Instructions, CAD Drawings,
etc... in many formats .doc, dwg, pdf, etc... We hyperlink these documents in
the notes field of the associated tasks. We use the Notes field, because the
Hyperlink field can only contain one link, whereas we need to link multiple
documents to some tasks. When we go to print out the selected tasks and
select "Print notes" in the page setup we of course get the selected
activities and the link references to the notes.
My goal is to be able to print the selected activities and deliver them to
our supervisors out in our shop so that they have a work package to work
from. We do not have MSProject installed on the shop floor.
My question is:
Is there any way that the notes can be expanded at print time so that the
hyperlinked documents are opened and printed along with the activities?
