Here is my problem:
I have a report that is used the fill the boxes on a tractor-fed pre-printed
license permit, this means the location for the data is fixed, (very little
room to move it around) the furthest field is the zip ocde(text box), in
print preview, every thing looks fine, when printed the last 2 digits of the
zip code are clipped.
Here are a few things I've already tried:
printer margins (dot matrix printer, will not let you set a right or left
margin lower than 0.25 inch)
Detail witdth (no change in problem, even when combined with above)
Define a custom paper size in 'Print Server' (even when combined with abouve)
I've trie changied the above about + - an inch or so, in about 30
variations, if you go to wide you get the additional blank page AND it still
clips. If you move the text box to the left, it prints fine, the last digit
of the zip code is about 3/4 inch from the right edge of the paper, in MS
Word you can force the margins to less than 0.25 inch and the printer will
print clear off the page if you like.
