Printing in booklet form... but not 8.5 x 11!

I'm trying to print a CD booklet -- the "pages" are 4.75" wide by 4.72"
tall, and the physical sheet of paper is twice as wide (to hold two
pages per side). I cannot get Word (well, specifically, my printer) to
produce output that looks right.

Does anyone here have experience with this type of formatting?

By not being able to get output to look right do you mean not getting
the proper margins, an inability to get the desired orientation or an
inability to get the right combination of pages on a sheet?

There ARE ways of accomplishing that in most word processors with the
ability to have different right and left page margins AND the ability to
print alternate pages. There are also post process "printer"
applications that can convert nearly any hard copy output to booklets.

The abilities of newer versions are broader too. If the responding
parties have older versions of Word, they may not be able to test
procedures using the newer features. Please include your word version
number in future inquiries.
