printing in power point

Hi, how do I delete the framed border that appears on my slides when I go to
print them? The contents of my slides go outside the borders when they are
printed.
Thank you!

Are you sure that the border your printing is not the limitations of your
printer. Most printers by default leave an unprintable border.

Hi, yes, unfortunately, the entire slide prints out, including all of its
contents, which is good, but the unwanted picture frame border is also
printed out, and the contents of the slide spill over the artificial picture
frame that I'm trying to delete.

Are you printing in greyscale? Maybe theres something on the master printing
which you cant see in colour. (like a backround colour line box) Try view >
greyscale see if anything shows on the master.

When I view it in greyscale the frame becomes visible to me on the screen for
the first time, thank you. Now I need to figure out how to delete the frame.

Hi, you've done it! I just needed to select print in color, and the frame
isn't printed. Thanks for your help!

Can you not delete from the master slide once you can see it? One trick is
to view the master slide > select all and then shift click everything you
want and then press delete. It may be part of the background which is a bit
trickier.

Hi, when I do that, it doesn't give me the option of deleting the picture
frame. But no worries, printing it in colour (and telling my printer to
print in black and white) deletes the picture frame. Thanks again.
