Printing jpgs with File Names

I have many JPGS in folders that I need to examine and tag with meta-data.

I need to print these images out with their file names attached/included,
but no program seems to allow me to do this.

IE will do it, but this requires opening each image separately and then
resizing them one-by-one, and then printing.

Is there a way to open these files in a program that will allow me to print
them en mass with file names attached?

Do you have MS Office 2007 loaded on your computer? If so you have a
program that will print contact sheets for you easily.

It is called Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Load the program (Start,
Programs, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office Tools) and then allow the
program to search for your graphic files. Select them and then click File
Print. In the print wizard that starts scroll down to contact sheet and it
will print small thumbnails of the image with the filename below it.

If you don't have 2007, you can download the Windows Live Photo Gallery from
Windows Live at http://get.live.com/WL/config_all which is an exact
duplicate or very near duplicate to the program included in Office 2007.
Only have the checkmark on the Photo Gallery unless you want the other
software installed. Is an easy to use program but the only issue I see with
either version is the size of the thumbnails which are fairly small.

There are many other Photo editing programs that will create contact sheets
which is what you are asking for. I suggest Google for "contact sheet
printing" or similar and check out the software available. Some is free and
some you would be required to pay for.

Hope this information helps, let us know.

Thanks much, LVTravel ... I have MS Office Picture Manager, and will explore
this option.

I think the other factor I failed to mention is that I do need these
pictures to be of sufficient size since I will be looking at them to create
tags for a database. Hopefully the contact sheet size isn't too small.

I will also look at the Google solution you mentioned.

Thanks again,
Dan
