Printing Long List on One Page

I have a long, narrow (2 1/2")alphabetized list of 60 lines and I want to print it all on one page sort of like columns - it is driving me crazy that I cannot figure out how to do this. I don't want to set it up as a table or column, because it is frequently added to or subtracted from - I just want to print it all on one page so it reads down on the left and then continues to read down in about the middle of the page so there are 2 columns. Multiple pages printing only makes it very tiny and does not work. Please help.

You say you don't want to use column; but what you describe is exactly what
columns do. Go to Format > Columns and select 3 columns. You can always
switch back to one column for editing. Experiment with the column spacing
and the line between the columns to see what's most readable.

If you insert a continuous section break at the end of the list, Word will
make the columns approximately the same length (which you might or might not
want).

I am wondering what the best way to move between columns is. Any help? All I know to do is to enter down until the cursor goes to the next column but then when more things are entered in the first column, everything in the second column moves down.
