1. Change your Tasks view to Active Tasks for Selected Days
2. You need to set the sort order for your contacts in Tools->Email Accounts->Directories->View or Change->Select your Outlook Address Book service->Change. Set the sort order from there. Okay out and then close and restart Outlook. Also, you need to set the display order under Tools->options->Contact options.
