Printing notes that exceed 1 page on notes page

I'm trying to type info on notes page of Powerpoint. It exceed the space
allowed -- how do I get Powerpoint to create a second page of note which can
be printed upon briefing.

You can't. You can create a blank slide following the one you want the extra
notes in, make it hidden, will not show, but will print for you.
