Printing only odd page numbers on consecutively printed pages

I want to print out a long document formatted like a book by using landscape
orientation with two columns and then folding the printed page back on itself
to create one book leaf with recto and verso from a single printed page.

But if I use standard page printing, I'll end up with pagination 1, 2, 3,
etc on each consecutive recto instead of 1, 3, 5, 7, etc on each consecutive
recto and 2, 4, 6, 8, etc on each consecutive verso. I need to be able to
print 1 - 2, 3 - 4, 5 - 6, etc on each consecutive page I print from my
printer.

Does anyone know, is this possible? Any help greatly appreciated.

What version of Word are you using? This information help with the solution
to your problem.
File, Print, bottom left - Print: you have the option to print only Odd or
Even pages.
But I do think you may find that the Book Fold option (found under Page
Setup, Margins tab, Multiple Pages, options) may give you a better result.
Look in the Help articles for this feature.

The above is for 2003 and prior, for 2007 instructions may differ but
hopefully this will indicate the right direction.
Hope this helps

Thank you Dean. I had not known about the Book Fold option. I tinkered with
it and have it the way I want.

Many thanks.
