printing out entire contents of slide page

I pasted an full-page image [was originally Microsoft word doc w/ text in
specialized fonts ] into a PowerPoint slide. Then I added text boxes and
arrows. My initial printout only included the part of the page that is in
the usual size of a slide, so I adjusted the page format to 8.5 X 11, but
that distorts my original image so that the textboxes and arrows no longer go
where they were supposed to. Is there any way to print out the entire page
and have it look just as it looks on the screen?

Thanks

You will need to adjust the contents of the slide fit on the slide.

Adjusting the slide dimensions, while objects are on it, will cause those
objects to distort in relation to the new dimensions, so you need to remove
the objects prior to adjusting the slides dimensions.

Select all the elements that are not to distort, cut them (Ctl+X), adjust
the slide's dimensions, then paste the objects back. This method will keep
the objects from distorting, but only works if you are using one slide.
