Printing Page Number?

Hi,
I am using Word XP or 2002. I go to "header & footer" and insert page
numbers. I use the format "page x of y". When I look on the screen the
"page x of y" letters look correct. When I print these sheets, the "page x
of y" text prints as "page 1 of 1, page 2 of 2, page 3 of 3, etc. Can
anyone help? Thank you very much.

Thanks very much Jay. I tried the update and it didn't work. I then
changed the settings in the "tools" menu and it seems to have worked.
