Printing Private Appointments

S

Snapper

I enter in events or appointments with no heading but text in the Notes section.
It's mainly as a diary. But when I print out a calendar to hang on the fridge
the event, if it is an appointment marked "private" and if I click on "don't
print details for private appointments" in the print dialog window, the
appointment is listed with a heading of "Private Appointment".

Why the hell does it do this? If it's a private appt and I don't want its
details printed, what does Outlook do? It not only prints the event but it also
has a blaring title "private appointment".

If I don't check the "don't print details, etc.." option then the event is still
printed but it has no title.

What I want it to do is to print the calendar without any sign of an
appointment, private or otherwise being shown for that particular entry.

It's not that I have anything to hide. Rather I think that all it does is to
clutter up the calendar with mostly useless info.

Oh, I have tried this at work which also uses Outlook 2003 and it does the exact
same thing.
